We want to raise the standards of football coaching across our Home County, Cornwall.

Sport is seen as one of the biggest single ways to positively influence the well being of children. Cornwall is one of the only counties in the UK without a professional football club. The absence of such a club has had far reaching effects. Over time, the severe lack of knowledge and expertise that fails to filter into the local community leads to a lack of expertise in clubs and no professional  coaching is available for kids, leaving them lacking ambition or the even the opportunity to develop. The sports men and women, the coaches, managers, referees and everyone involved at the grassroots level are doing their best, but without a pro club in the county its difficult to strive for high standards. The Endorsed Academy was founded with the single aim of raising the standards of football and sports coaching across the county of Cornwall.

We are doing this by engaging the community and our academy has been designed and built in partnership wth Nike, endorsed.com, professional clubs like LeedsUnited and local clubs like Mousehole AFC.

We’re excited to have appointed Jason Blunt (Leeds United) as full time Head of the Academy. Jason joins us from Championship club Leeds United, where he was a Premiership player and the under-23’s Manager for a number of years. Joining Jason, we have built a team of outstanding coaches to support the Academy, more information below:

We have developed Fly Football – a football philosophy which says that ambition and progress are best served by developing our own talent rather than buying-in short-term success. Fly Football is a passing out from the back, high intensity, attacking style of football. Our age related training programs ensure that everybody that our Academy trains will receive the “next steps” in their development towards learning to play real football.
